Texas Wedding Photographers With a Passport Problem
If you want the polished bio, the neat little elevator pitch, the curated timeline, you will not find it here. Loure Studios was born far from Texas. It started on dirty bus seats, airport floors, and places your mother would tell you not to go. It started with two twenty-somethings who thought a camera could unlock the world, and were foolish enough to test the theory.
We chased stories before we ever thought to photograph weddings. We drifted through Africa and Europe with backpacks full of camera gear and optimism, sleeping wherever we landed. We lived among nomadic tribes in Namibia, breaking bread with people who understood the desert better than we ever could. We walked with elephants in the quiet heat of the bush. We lived on a Moroccan beach because we ran out of money and it seemed like the only logical next step. We clubbed in London until sunrise. We were briefly homeless in Rome, which is somehow funny in hindsight and terrible in the moment. We got lost in Botswana, sunburned in South Africa, enchanted in Copenhagen, and welcomed in Zimbabwe by strangers who felt like old friends.
Photography was the currency that bought us entry into lives we would have never crossed paths with. It got us into kitchens, backrooms, markets, alleyways, weddings, funerals, and moments that would never happen twice. It taught us to listen before we shoot. To watch before we speak. To show up with respect and leave with a story.
Now we bring that same spirit into every wedding we photograph.
Our Philosophy
Weddings are not perfect. Good. Perfect is boring. Real is better. Give us the chaos. The heat. The family dynamics. The loud laughers and the quiet criers. Give us the things you will forget until you see them frozen in an image ten years later and suddenly remember what the room smelled like.
We shoot like travelers. Curious. Present. Never assuming. Never intruding. Just watching the way your story unfolds and knowing instinctively when to press the shutter.
What We Believe
Love looks different everywhere. In Texas or Morocco. On a dance floor or in a desert. Under a cathedral ceiling or on a dirt road. But the core of it, the heartbeat, the part that reminds you you are alive, is always the same.
Our job is to honor that. Not stage it. Not sanitize it. Just tell it truthfully. With care and art and a little bit of beautiful recklessness.
Loure Studios Today
We are based in Texas now, working as wedding photographers, filmmakers, and creative partners for couples who want more than pretty pictures. They want something that feels lived in. Something with history and soul.
We carry our travels with us. They shape the way we see light, people, timing, tenderness, and the extraordinary things that happen when humans gather to celebrate love.
And if we have learned anything from all those miles, it is this.
People are the most interesting places on earth.
Your wedding is no exception.
